On Saturday May 14th, the Halton Waldorf School will be hosting a speakers series and parent networking event where the focus will be on how to connect children to nature. This community event will be featuring prolific writer and speaker and owner of Natural Playgrounds Adam Bienenstock.
Adam is an internationally acclaimed designer, builder, and researcher of nature based parks, and the founder of Bienenstock Natural Playgrounds. Adam’s nature-play advocacy work and spectacular natural parks and playgrounds have sent him around the world. Whether it is redesigning campuses for nature play in the wake of ISIS attacks in Jakarta or redeveloping the baby panda exhibit for the Toronto Metro Zoo, you will find Bienenstock at the forefront of the movement to connect children to nature.
Join Adam Bienenstock at the Halton Waldorf School on May 14th in an informative keynote exploring the reasons for this new phenomenon in play. He will highlight how play has changed over time, why it is important to connect children to nature, and some examples of natural playgrounds that engage children on a whole other level. Backed up with lots of peer reviewed research and real life examples from his own projects, Adam Bienenstock makes a compelling and entertaining case for why nature play is the better choice!
Come out on Saturday May 14th and check this event out. Please share this with your parent friends and networks as parents have always walked away with great life lessons and connections moving forward.
